2010 and Billabong1
Billabong has been involved with bodyboarding for over 20 years, that’s along time considering our sport is still relatively in its infancy. The one thing that underpins the respect the company enjoys in the marketplace is Billabong’s commitment to pro board sports and it’s team riders.
Billabong has always associated itself with the finest bodyboarders including riders like 1993 World Champion and constant innovator of the sport Micheal ”eppo” Eppelstun,1997 Pipeline Champion Steve ”bullet” Mackenzie,Dropknee specialist Dave Ballard,Paul Barnard,Australian Champion Andrew Lester,2 x world champion andre botha,Beau Day,Mitch Hall,2 x IBA World Champion Damian King and of course 6 x Riptide Peer Poll winner Ryan Hardy whom have all been on Billabong’s payroll. 2010 is no different with Billabong’s current team of Mitch Rawlins, Jake Stone, Matt Lackey and Super Grom Thorpe Waleau all set to live up to Billabong’s rich bodyboarding history.
